Crate 61 soap dishes are made with love in Ancaster, Ontario using Canadian western red cedar. This wood is predominantly indigenous to B.C and is known for its naturally occurring oils which lend resistance to water and rot. Our dishes are stained using all natural tung oil which is a fantastic plant based sealer that penetrates into the wood’s pores and enhances the durability, water resistance and the natural red colour of the wood itself. Hexagonal shaped, just like our logo, sustainable and practical, just like our brand – we’d love to see your picture of our dish in your bathroom!
